Originally from Washington state, Annie is currently in Omaha, NE, where she will attend medical school. In 2020 Annie graduated from Pepperdine University with a degree in Biology and a minor in Spanish. She began working as a tutor in high school, and has continued to seek out various tutoring and education positions throughout her college career, whether as a tutor, teaching assistant, or study group leader. Annie tutored athletes at the Pepperdine athletic department in a variety of courses, including organic chemistry, general chemistry, cellular biology, spanish, and animal biology. She also worked in Pepperdine's Student Success Center as a chemistry and biology tutor. In addition to her experience with tutoring, she worked as a Teaching Assistant for four different courses during undergrad. Outside of school and teaching, Annie participated in research for Pepperdine's microbiology lab, attended several clubs on campus and recently started surfing.
